A unique take on a classic spread, try this flavor variation with fresh cilantro and oregano. Add a dash more oil if you’re after a sauce or dressing. Great on tacos, garden salads, fish and chicken.
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro
- 3 tablespoons, fresh oregano
- 2 large garlic cloves
- 1/3 cup nuts, I used unsalted almonds
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/2-3/4 cup oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
In a food processor, pulse all the ingredients, except the oil, salt and pepper until combined. With the processor running, drizzle in the oil until it reaches your desired consistency. Salt and pepper to taste.
