Chive blossoms are the purple pom-pom flowers of garden chives and are often overlooked. But these blooms are edible, possess a light onion-y flavor and will add a gourmet garnish to so many dishes. The stalks can be chopped and sauteed as well. And don’t stop there, you can also infuse vinegar with chive blossoms! The result is a rosy pink, chive flavored vinegar that is perfect for homemade vinaigrettes or marinades.
