Smoot's Flavor Farm is hiring for the 2025 season!  We are a looking for a Part-Time employee to help our small herb farm grow.  This position would be active from May through August, with opportunities for additional hours during our market season this fall.  

This position would be split between the farm (e.g. seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvesting) and our food processing facility (e.g. loading the dryer, garbling dried herbs, blending and packing seasonings and teas, developing new products).  

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in farming and/or value-added food processing.  We are looking for someone who enjoys working outside, working with their hands, being physical and being creative. 

Must be able to:

• Lift 50 lbs
• Work outside in the summer months
• Follow procedures consistently and accurately

We will teach you everything you need to know, but experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Agriculture and/or gardening
• Food service and/or food safety
• Marketing
• Culinary arts, tea, and herbs
